While I’m stoked for the second season, with an early 2012 start date there is going to be a void in my daily dose of squatch. That said, I am above and beyond excited for the Halloween special, “The Squatchiest Place On Earth,” set to be filmed in the Bluff Creek area. I was supposed to join a BFRO expedition this summer to the region where Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin had their famous encounter, but my aging car objected to another 1500 mile trip. While this special won’t make up for an incredible missed opportunity, I am hoping it will take the edge off my cravings until Finding Bigfoot returns in 2012.
